Alternative fuels for freight and logistics Webinar

Find out how the decarbonisation of freight and logistics is important in achieving the target of net-zero transport. For many businesses decarbonisation of their logistics will be vital to their future operations and / or the carriers they select. Understanding the effect on future tendering success is vital.

The transition to net-zero will include electric-powered vehicles and alternative fuels, so to understand what options are available and how the freight and logistics industry is facilitating the transition, join the TSCN alternative fuel for Freight and Logistics webinar with speakers from Volvo Trucks, Siemens Mobility and Element Energy to hear about and how this can benefit your business.

Confirmed speakers and topics include:

John Comer, Product Manager, Volvo Trucks UK and Ireland

John will discuss Volvo’s electric vehicle options and the impact on TSCN members in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Justin Moss, Siemens Mobility Limited

Justin will present Siemens eHighway Solution for electrified road freight which is hoped to be the forerunner of a scheme that aims to see the UK’s major roads served by overhead lines by the 2030s.

William Darby, Principal Consultant, Element Energy

William will discuss Element Energies work on Hydrogen fuel technology to help TSCN members understand this complex area and to provide insights into the emerging opportunities available.
