If so, then the ‘Pitching Perfectly- To win new business’ workshop could be just what you’re looking
for.
The Supply Chain network, in partnership with the York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub, is hosting a
workshop to help businesses understand how to plan and prepare a successful pitch to a buyer,
whether that’s someone in retail or foodservice.
By the end of the day, you will be able to:
• Identify your target market and business opportunity
• Understand what buyers are looking for from a pitch
• Confidently deliver your business pitch to a real buyer who, along with the other workshop
attendees, will provide constructive and helpful feedback.
As well as being given access to workshop materials after the event, you will also be provided with a
link to a video of your actual pitch so you can practice and improve on this further.
Your coach for the day is Zeina Chapman of Zeina Chapman Consulting. With years of experience as
a buyer for M&S, a business consultant working with prestigious clients including Deloitte and the
United Nations and as a business start-up co-founder herself, Zeina has a wealth of knowledge &
experience to bring to this workshop and is really looking forward to helping local businesses.
